SHE flies into town next week to begin shooting the much-hyped Justice League of America, but Teresa Palmer could end up spending much of her time in Sydney lazing on Bondi Beach instead.
The George Miller mega-movie has reportedly been hit with delays as a result of the Hollywood writer’s strike, which also led to the cancellation of the Golden Globes.
Confidential hears the script still needs tweaking, but there is no chance of that happening until the writer’s go back to work.
While the comic book superhero flick is currently in pre-production at Moore Park’s Fox Studios, many of those involved in making the movie have not yet returned to work for the year after their summer holiday break.
Although December Boys star Palmer - who plays the villainous Talia al Ghul - is yet to arrive, most of the cast members are already here.
They include Knocked Up star Jay Baruchel, who also plays one of the film’s bad guys.
“It’s a big shambles,” a film insider said.
Megan Gale, who has been holidaying at Palm Beach with her boyfriend Andy Lee, is believed to have the role of Wonder Woman in the film.
The DJs darling, who replaced Hollywood babe Jessica Biel in the part, is now in full training mode.
US screenwriters walked out in November last year after a dispute with film and television producers over royalties from internet and new media sales.
Neither Miller nor the film’s producer, Barry Osborne, were available for comment yesterday.
