THR reports that Teresa is to replace Charlize Theron in the upcoming Mad Max 4.
Nicholas Hoult is walking “Fury Road,” the new “Mad Max” movie from series writer-director George Miller.
Zoe Kravitz, Teresa Palmer and Adelaide Clemens also are in various states of negotiations to join the actioner.
The movie is set a short while after the story detailed in 1985′s “Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome,” which keeps Mad Max, the character originated by Mel Gibson, relatively young.
Details are being kept quiet, but it is known that Hoult’s character is named Nux. Kravitz, whose character’s name is Five Wives, Palmer and Clemens are in a convoy being chased by bad guys.
Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy are starring in the pic. The movie will shoot in Australia this summer; Warner Bros. will distribute.
The U.K.’s Hoult made his feature debut in “About a Boy” and starred in the British series “Skins.” His work in “A Single Man” earned him a BAFTA nomination. The actor, repped by UTA and Independent, also will appear in Warners’ remake of “Clash of the Titans.”

Hello everyone,
Firstly, thanks for correcting me on the on set photos from a few weeks ago! I have added another 70 photos of Teresa on the set of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, with thanks to my good friend Kelly!
Also, Teresa has been nominated for “Breakthrough Performance Female” from the 2009 MTV Movie Awards! You can vote for here by clicking here!
TERESA Palmer has joined Cate Blanchett as the latest Australian actor to lend her face to a leading cosmetics company.
Palmer, currently filming The Sorcerer’s Apprentice alongside Nicolas Cage in New York, has accepted a two-year deal to be the face and spokesperson of Jurlique.
“They’re a wonderful company that places such an emphasis on natural beauty and their products are organic,” Palmer said.
“I’m a fan of their range and I’m excited about our collaboration.”
The deal is another sign of Palmer’s success since swapping Adelaide for Hollywood 18 months ago. Plucked from obscurity after shooting local feature 2:37, the 23-year-old has gone on to star alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Daniel Radcliffe and Adam Sandler in various films.
Her next project, Kids In America, starring Anna Faris, will debut in August.
It was while filming this that Palmer met former flame Topher Grace. But only last week the pair were reported to have rekindled their romance.
“I have a lovely boyfriend, but I won’t name him. I like to focus on my work. There’s been so much unwanted media attention on my private life before, I’d like to swing it back to my acting.”
The majority of the “unwanted attention” surrounded her rumoured engagement to British bad boy Russell Brand.
At the time the couple were dating, Brand told the press he’d “settled down” and “found the one”. They split three months later.
Palmer, who admits to missing Australia, said she recently started a production company with a fellow expat Australian, Sydney’s Tahyna Tozzi. The pair plan to shoot a film in Adelaide next year.
Palmer said she will next visit Australia in August at the end of her current filming schedule.

Hello everyone,
Looks like our Teresa has a new role coming up, another Disney film!
Source: MTV Movies Blog
Australian beauty Teresa Palmer has found her next big-screen outing courtesy of Disney in the upcoming live-action take on the “Fantastia” tale, “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, according to The Hollywood Reporter.Currently set to star Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel (in the respective Sorcerer and Apprentice roles), the film reunites Cage with both-time “National Treasure” director Jon Turteltaub and likewise producer extraordinaire Jerry Bruckheimer.
The original “Fantastia” short, featuring Mickey Mouse battling enchanted broomsticks gone-wrong, was set to composer Paul Dukas’ 1897 piece “L’Apprenti sorcier” (Hello, public domain!) which was in-turn inspired by hundred-year-earlier poem of the same name.
No huge surprise, Palmer is set to play Baruchel’s love interest, a role that – to the best of my knowledge – doesn’t even come close to being hinted at in any of the previous versions. That said, I do hear that cute Australian blondes are the number one reason kids today are getting into sorcery in the first place.
Palmer is currently gracing the silver screen in “Bedtime Stories” but is actually probably best known for her rumored casting as Talia Al Ghul in probably-never-going-to-happen George Miller’s “Justice League.”
